Activities

 

PAS will engage, as far as possible in close cooperation with national Academies of Science and other institutions of education and scientific research, in such activities as:

 

·        The organization of regional and interdisciplinary conferences; 

 

·        Assistance in the coordination of scientific research, education and advocacy in different countries of the Asia-Pacific region; 

 

·        Support of existing scientific journals devoted to new technology concerns; 

 

·        Interlinking scientific research institutes and associations with other scientific organizations; 

 

·        Stimulating a culture of science through e-group exchanges and an electronic newsletter; 

 

·        Publication of scientific studies of an interdisciplinary character and the proceedings of PAS conferences;

 

·        Promotion of international cooperation for education of new sciences and new technologies.
