Mutually Exclusive

Two events $E_1$ and $E_2$ are mutually exclusive if $E_1\cap E_2 \equiv\emptyset$. $n$ events $E_1$, $E_2$, ..., $E_n$ are mutually exclusive if $E_i\cap E_j \equiv \emptyset$ for $i\not=j$.
